Fostering growth, connection

and all that is good

“I sing a song of the saints of God, patient and brave and true…” Inside the chapel of St. Timothy’s Church you can hear the voices of 450 children...

...ages four to 14, harmonizing as they sing an old, beloved hymn. A few parents have come to take part in the weekly Chapel, some with babies and toddlers in tow. Present in every verse and every heart is a sense of peace, comfort, love and belonging.

Teachers, administrators, students, alumni, parents—all say it feels like family here.

“And one was a doctor, and one was a queen, and one was a shepherdess on the green...”

Those who work here don’t think of it only as a job, nor do they stop thinking about their students when they leave campus. Parents become important members of the community by volunteering or attending events like Mothers’ Tea and Donuts with Dads. All share in cherished, long-standing traditions.

It’s this staunch support network that strengthens our students. At St. Timothy’s, we don’t focus solely on accomplishment. While success is celebrated, equally vital to our students’ development is learning to be resilient.

On the baseball diamond or the soccer field, we want our players to experience the joy of victory, but also learn the lessons that only defeat can teach. We want them to feel physically strong, but also how it feels to push themselves. We ask students to have ambitious goals and high expectations, while encouraging them to see failure as an opportunity for growth.

Our Titans have the strength to face life's challenges, and they can be sure of the love and support of those who stand behind them.

A few classic
St. Timothy’s traditions.

A connection to St. Timothy’s School lasts a lifetime. Year after year, our alumni come back to visit former teachers and mentors...

...during high school and college breaks. And when they have their own families, local alumni enroll their children here at St. Timothy’s.

St. Timothy’s faculty members are not only fantastic teachers; they’re excellent role models.
